Using
intuitive touch screen, every operation is very easy. You can quickly set the dose, program single and double doses and grind coffee continuously. The screen also shows a dose counter.
The hands-free kit fits every filter holder. Place the portafilter on it and push it forward to activate the grinding button.
Grinding
Mignon is recommended for grinding espresso. To set the roughness, simply turn the micrometric adjustment knob. Although this process is non-stop, it has a scale that makes the whole process easier. The grind is precise and consistent. In this case, the most important element is the 55 mm hardened steel burner. For espresso, it grinds about 1.4-1.8g/s, and for stronger - 1.9-2.5 g/s.
How it is built
The Mignon is also well-designed and well-customized. It is available in various colourways. The body is made of metal, so it is durable. The transparent plastic funnel can hold up to 300 g of beans.
