Precise wire and fault diagnostics
The UT683KIT can quickly locate a wire in a bundle and pinpoint the location of a fault - even with cable lengths exceeding 3,000 meters (in the case of RJ11). It also allows checking cable continuity and testing for short or break (up to 10 kΩ), as well as identifying polarity. A port illumination function further facilitates verification of correct connections.
Safe operation with low-voltage installations
The UT683KIT is designed to work with installations up to 60V DC. In addition, the receiver is equipped with NCV (non-contact voltage detection) function, which increases the safety of use. A practical 3.5mm headphone jack allows convenient listening to the signal in difficult conditions, and a low power indicator lets you know when it needs to be recharged.
Ergonomics and performance in a compact form factor
The kit consists of a lightweight transmitter (95 g) and a rugged receiver (127 g), both of which fit perfectly in the hand thanks to their compact dimensions. The built-in 1050 mAh lithium-ion batteries provide more than 8 hours of transmitter operation and more than 5 hours of receiver operation - enough for a full day of field measurements.
