Perfume

Eau de Parfum (EDP)
One of the most popular and balanced types of perfume. Contains 10–20% aromatic compounds, offering longevity of 6 to 8 hours. Known for its rich, layered scent that unfolds over time.

Eau de Toilette (EDT)
A lighter and fresher version with around 5–15% fragrance concentration. Typically lasts 3 to 5 hours. Ideal for daytime wear and warmer seasons.

Eau de Cologne (EDC)
A very light formulation with 2–5% fragrance concentration. It evaporates quickly and leaves a subtle scent trail. Often used as a refreshing splash, especially in men’s fragrances.

Extrait de Parfum (Parfum)
The most concentrated and long-lasting form, containing up to 30% aromatic oils. Requires only a small amount for full effect. Commonly found in luxury or niche fragrances.

Body Spray / Body Mist
A light, low-concentration fragrance (typically 1–3%) designed to be sprayed liberally on the body. Ideal for quick refreshment after a shower or during the day. Body sprays are less intense than EDP or EDT and usually last a couple of hours. Often used for casual, daily wear and popular among both teens and adults.

Tester
A full-size bottle of the fragrance intended for in-store sampling. Testers may come without a cap or in a plain box but are identical in scent, strength, and performance to the original product.

Miniature
A smaller version of the fragrance (usually 5–15 ml), often replicating the original bottle design. Perfect for travel or trying out a scent before committing to a full size.

Gift Set
A boxed collection that may include perfume, body lotion, shower gel, or other matching products. A great choice for gifting or indulging in a full-scented skincare routine.

When choosing a perfume type, it’s important to consider not just the lasting power but also your daily routine, intended use, and personal preferences. Each format offers something different — from fresh daytime lightness to deep, elegant evening intensity.
