The Aputure STORM 400x uses the BLAIR (blue/yellow/amber/indigo/red) light engine, which ensures the highest quality white light and the greatest +/- green color adjustment of all LED technologies. The indigo radiation sources of the BLAIR engine enhance fluorescent materials such as natural daylight and tungsten sources. The brightness of the STORM 400x matches or exceeds many higher-powered LED lights.
COLOR CHANGE CONTROL
The revolutionary BLAIR light engine can also reproduce rich colors across more than 87% of the Rec. 709 color gamut, using limited HSIC+ and x,y control modes. Achieve deep red sunsets, rich sodium vapor amber hues, and subtle color effects without gels.
COMPACT POWER
The STORM 400x is surprisingly bright, its light output rivals many more powerful COB lamps or even exceeds them. Pair it with the CF7 Fresnel lens for a powerful combination capable of reaching over 23,000 lux at 3 meters.
PROLOCK FIXED BOWENS MOUNT
The ProLock locking Bowens mount securely holds modifiers and optics in place. In STORM lights, even the heaviest modifiers remain safe and properly aligned.
