Responsive customizable controls
The EOS R3 is designed exclusively for professionals. Its shape is inspired by the EOS-1DX series cameras, but it is smaller and lighter and incorporates the mirrorless design principles of the EOS R system for superior control.
The camera has a variety of controls, and the multi-controller and smart control are instinctively within reach of your thumb. With three customizable dials on the camera body and a lens control ring on each RF lens, you can adjust shutter speed, aperture, ISO and exposure compensation without taking the viewfinder off your eye.
The EOS R3 is also equipped with a four-million-dot high-resolution vari-angle display that is bright and clear even in bright conditions. It allows you to easily combine creative perspectives. Two card slots allow you to record video files and videos to widely available SD cards (supporting UHS-II) or the ultra-fast next-generation CFexpress media.
Use an electronic shutter with flash
To make it easier to balance daylight and flash even in bright conditions or when capturing the head of fast-moving subjects, flash sync is now available with the camera's electronic shutter, both on Canon Speedlites and third-party studio flashes.
