Shimano MT520 disc brake, front

Powerful Shimano four-piston hydraulic disc brake. Increase stopping power on an mountain bike or electric bike. Brake lever BL-MT501 and Brake caliper BR-MT520.

The J-kit, i.e. the hose, is detached from the handle, allowing easy shortening and internal pulls. If you do not shorten the hose, you can just push the hose firmly into the handle and tighten the connector with an 8 mm wrench. The connector must be tightened carefully to make the connection tight. If you shorten the hose, first install a new brass "spike" at the end of the hose and then make the connection as described above. Generally, the brake does not need to be bled after connecting the hose. Never press the brake lever before connecting the hose.
