Adaptive 2-in-1 seat

The excellent Joie Every Stage R129 car seat works both as a car seat suitable for children under 3 years old and as a car seat suitable for school-aged children. The unique 2-in-1 function allows the little one to travel rear-facing supported by the seat's own 5-point harness like in any car seat, but the child's raised seat transforms into a seat belt seat suitable for school-aged children. In this case, the harness is removed, the seat is turned to face the direction of travel, and by raising the headrest, you get more space on the sides and in the head area. The color-coded belt guides make it easier to install the seat in the car, and to fasten the seat belt to the child when traveling in the forward direction.

According to the latest safety classification R129/03 (i-Size) meets the latest crash test requirements and promotes compatibility with different car brands. The steel-reinforced frame and the three-layer headrest foam padding absorb impact force from different directions. In addition to safety, seat comfort has been invested in with a selectable seat angle, a passage that enhances air circulation and a flexible storage pocket. The pocket can store small items, but it is also suitable as a holder for a drinking bottle.

The removable cover of the safety seat can be washed in the washing machine (delicate wash at 30 degrees, no tumble drying).

The Joie Every Stage R129 car seat is classified in the seat group 40–145 cm, and is suitable for use up to around 12 years of age.

*The aim of the I-SIZE R129 standard is to improve the safety of children on car journeys and to reduce the incorrect installation of seats. In the R129 standard, crash tests are performed with a test dummy equipped with 32 sensors instead of the traditional 4 sensors, and side impact in particular has been included as part of the acceptable marking.
