The Satake Kuro Chopper is a roughly forged knife with a blade made of 5CR15MOV steel (also called 1.4116 steel), which has been processed eight times, which ensures extra sharpness and a hardness of 54-56 HRC. The knife has a long handle made of burnt wood. The beginning and end of the handle are 18/8 steel, offering perfect grip, balance and stability.
