Sony ZV-E1 is designed for content producers: The ultra-compact Sony ZV-E1 system camera is perfect for content producers who want to improve their skills. It offers a cinematic look for vlogs, interviews and product presentations. The ZV-E1 offers the same cinematic technology as the FX3 and a7S III, but in a smaller body. The Full Frame E-mount makes it one of the smallest cameras with interchangeable lenses. ZV-E1 benefits include cinematic bokeh, over 15-aperture dynamic range, 5-axis stabilization, AI-based autofocus, focus assist, multiple microphone options, USB streaming, dust and moisture-proof housing, and more. The camera can be seamlessly connected to a smartphone with the latest Sony application (Creators App), so you can easily transfer videos to the phone. The camera is also ready for streaming in up to 4K 30p or Full HD 60p quality without a separate capture card or additional software.

The Sony ZV-E1 is equipped with the same 12 megapixel backlit full frame sensor and powerful Bionz XR processor as the A7S III and FX3. The sensor enables ISO sensitivities up to 409600, and at low sensitivities the sharpness and dynamics are comparable to any camera on the market. The camera also has a 5-axis image stabilizer, which not only makes it easier to get sharp images, but also stabilizes the viewfinder image. Probably the best autofocus on the market inherited from the A7r V, a whopping 759-point autofocus keeps up even in the most difficult situations and covers almost the entire image area. Eye focus is an excellent help when photographing people. The completely silent shutter, on the other hand, enables shooting in situations that require complete silence.

The main focus of the Sony ZV-E1 is video shooting, and you can shoot very high-quality 4K videos with it. The 12 megapixel sensor is just right for 4K video, and enables recording of 4K 60P video using all pixels. With the ZV-E1n, you can also record 10-bit 4:2:2 video, which gives more room for post-processing. The ZV-E1 is also coming later with the same 4K 120P video as its older brothers. The camera also supports its own LUT profiles.

The biggest shortcomings compared to the A7S III: only one memory card slot, no viewfinder, no mechanical shutter (affects still photography), a small micro HDMI connector, and lower heat resistance. Better: autofocus, LUT support, better dynamic image stabilization.
