Similar to the Kali IN-UNF, the LP-UNF-WH is designed for individuals working in stationary environments with limited space and the ability to achieve a higher volume level. The LP-UNF-WH is sold as a pair of speakers, with a main speaker that houses the amplifier, electronics, and input section, as well as a passive additional speaker. Each speaker uses a 3.5-inch woofer, a 1-inch textile tweeter, and measures 25.4 x 16.4 x 18.6 cm, taking up minimal desk space. With a recommended listening distance of 0.8m, the LP-UNF provides 85dB maximum SPL with 20dB of headroom and offers a frequency response from 37 Hz to 25 kHz. The LP-UNF-WH monitors were created with a wide range of stationary applications in mind. This includes tuning to optimize the sound of the speakers for desktop computers, whether the monitors are directly on the desk, on monitor stands, on built-in stands found on recording desks, or even on speaker stands behind the desk. For all stationary applications, the sound can also be further optimized depending on whether the speakers are placed against a wall or further into the room. Inputs include stereo TRS for use with professional audio equipment, 3.5mm for consumer equipment, USB-C for direct use with a computer or tablet, and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless listening. The USB-C connection will also allow users to update the firmware, as Kali updates features and introduces enhancements to the LP-UNF. The LP-UNF-WH utilizes the same technology as the most popular Kali LP-6 and LP-8 V2 speakers. A 3-D imaging waveguide is used to create a detailed, realistic stereo image where all elements of the mix can be clearly perceived in space. The large front bass reflex port uses a unique shape that eliminates noise and port compression. This allows the speakers to be placed against walls without worrying about negative effects on port performance. Like the larger speakers in the LP series, the LP-UNF-WH utilizes Kali's 2nd Wave amplifier technology to ensure low noise levels, low distortion, and high dynamic range.
