“Behringer SPICE” – an analog semi-modular polyrhythmic synthesizer with 2 oscillators, 4 sub-oscillators, a multi-mode filter, and a 4-step sequencer. “Behringer SPICE” is a unique polyrhythmic synthesizer capable of creating incredibly complex and intricate sequences that will delight any audience. At the heart of SPICE are two VCO oscillators, each capable of shaping square and sawtooth waves. They are complemented by two sub-harmonic oscillators and a mixer section with level controls for the main VCO and two sub-harmonic oscillators. Layering each of these oscillators allows for the extraction of a highly pleasing, deep sound in quasi-polyphony. SPICE also features a 24 dB ladder filter, VCA, and VCF sections for additional sound shaping. SPICE has two 4-step sequencers synchronized by 4 polyrhythmic generators. All sequencers are synchronized with global tempo control, which can be set manually or using an external clock. Now you can focus solely on creating amazing sounds! Although SPICE does not require a single patch cable for operation, its semi-modular architecture allows for easy creation of complex configurations by connecting to other synthesizers and Eurorack modules.
