Features:
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is one of the most commonly used thermoplastic materials for 3D printing. It is ideal as a 3D printing material: it is mechanically strong, resistant to shocks, heat, alkali and acid solutions, and alcohols, but easily lends itself to both mechanical and chemical processing.
ABS plastic can be further processed: sanded, smoothed or glued with acetone. Treatment with acetone vapor essentially helps to form a monolithic structure.
This plastic is flexible enough that it bends under pressure rather than cracking.
ABS's heat and impact resistance allows it to be used in many industries. It is suitable for objects that are used in adverse conditions, at high temperatures, and for highly vulnerable parts.
Its resistance makes it ideal for car accessories and phone cases.
It emits a noticeable odor during printing, so room ventilation is required.
