NikolaTesla is Elica’s first aspirating induction hob equipped with the most advanced technologies with distinctive design, characterized by strong lines and high quality material, combining the functions of two appliances into one single product. It has all the advantages of induction hobs, such as rapid cooking and easy cleaning. However, Elica added specific technologies, like the double bridge function that allows for two adjacent cooking zones to combine, so that large sized pots can be used. The aspirating system, positioned in the central zone, reaches high performance levels, in terms of fume extraction, noise level and energy efficiency (class A+). Thanks to the direct communication with the hob, it is able to receive information from the cooking zones, and automatically calibrates the ideal aspiration level, so that the user only needs to worry about cooking, while at the same time reducing energy consumption. The command is 10 speed touch control, that allows you to adjust both the hob and the aspirating zone. Available in both aspirating and filtering version, the hob was thought up for any type of space, and thanks to a series of accessories, it can meet any installation need. In the filtering version, the high performing new generation ceramic odor filters are accessible from the top part of the hob, making cleaning and maintenance a cinch. The grease filter grid and the filter itself, are characterized by exclusive design, with attention to every detail.
The special Bridge Zones can work both individually or combined for a more homogeneous cooking using both baking pans and large pots. Thanks to this technology it is the hob surface that adapts itself to the type of pots being used.
The Easy Installation plus has been designed to make the installation of a hood easier; in case the hood is wall mounted, through an adjustment of the appliance alignment between the cabinets; if the hood is built-in mounted, through well explained.
Excellent performance for models equipped with this plus. High fume capturing capacity with an aspiration range between 600 and 700 m3. With a noise level between 60-65 db(A) at maximum speed (reference point varies based on the hood category).
The Elica induction hobs automatically detect the presence of pots on the cooking zones for cooking in total comfort. The absence of pots on the surface blocks the heating process, making the hob perfectly safe and avoiding waste of energy.
Stop&Go allows you to switch the hob off, and then to quickly restart working at the same temperature.
The LIEN hobs are equipped with wireless technology which allows the transmission in real time of information on the use of the hob: active zones, cooking power and the presence of pots.
