The extension is not compatible with the old version of the game, in which the figurines are made of wood.
This extension does not so much change the game as it offers even more of the one already popular in the game "Catan". A larger playing field gives you the opportunity to play with different island layouts. A new type of road — fairways — allows you to connect properties on the island of Katana with smaller islands to gain an advantage in the struggle for resources. New types of structures and a larger area make the game even more exciting.
