The HSS Countersink Bit, Hex-Shank performs smooth countersinking for screws and deburring of holes in tough materials. The ground countersink made of HSS (high-speed steel) has an optimised surface quality for even work. Excellent results in tough materials are made possible by three 90-degree cutting edges that continuously work, chattering- and burr-free. A high power-transfer, due to the hex shank, allows for flush hole countersinking. It is suitable for use on non-ferrous metals, steel and cast iron and has a hexagonal shank system for universal use. It can also be used with impact drivers. The HSS Countersink Bit, Hex-Shank is manufactured to DIN 335. The best results can be achieved when working at a low cutting speed.
