Its main function is to quickly gather an acoustic picture of the sound characteristics of a room. Think of it as an audio detective - it helps you discover the secrets of the room! When you place the ECM PRO in a room and connect it to an FFT analyzer, the microphone captures all the sound characteristics of the environment. This data is then analyzed with tools such as the Behringer ULTRACURVE DEQ2496 or other audio analyzers. Armed with this knowledge, you can fine-tune your listening system to match the current room conditions. Adjust graphic equalizer settings based on ECM PRO analysis to give your speakers the most authentic and consistent sound.
